1、For the first time use, please clean the machine according to the following steps.
① Add 5 cups of water to the water tank of the coffee machine and place the glass pot on the insulation plate (no need to add coffee powder for this cleaning process).
② Plug in the power, turn on the switch and let the water fully heated and all dripping into the glass pot.
③ turn off the switch, pour off the hot water and let the coffee machine stand for 10 minutes until it is fully cooled, that is, you can start to make coffee.

2, American-style coffee machine cleaning and maintenance
The product must be cleaned after each use. Before cleaning, please make sure that the power has been cut off and the heating parts have been completely cooled. After cleaning, please place the product in a dry and ventilated place indoors, once the product is damp and moldy, affecting the performance of the product. If the product is not used for 3 days, make sure to clean it before using it again to prevent odor and affect the taste of coffee.

Cleaning method
① If the power is on. Please unplug and cut off the power supply, take the glass out of the product and rinse it with water directly.
② Open the filter basket and take out the filter basket and screen. Remove the used coffee powder from the filter first, and then rinse it off with water directly.
③ Rinse the funnel directly with water and wipe off the external water stains with a dry cloth.
④ Wipe the product with a damp cloth and put the filter, basket and glass back into the coffee machine.
⑤ After the product has been cleaned, house it in a ventilated and dry place indoors.
⑥ If the product has not been used for a long time, please clean it according to the "first use" method.

Note: When cleaning the product, please do not rinse the product directly with water or other liquids, and do not use abrasive materials to wipe the product to avoid damaging the product or affecting its performance.

Product descaling method
In the process of long-term use, the product will produce scale due to water quality problems, regular descaling can not only extend the life of the product，but also ensure the effect of coffee brewing. If the product is used twice a day on average, it needs to be descaled once in 3 months.

Descaling method.
① Open the tank lid, add 500-600ml of water to the tank, and add the appropriate amount of descaling agent (citric acid-based descaling agent is recommended), cover the tank lid, and place the glass on the product.
② Plug in the power connector and turn on the power, start the power switch, the red switch indicator light will be on and the product will enter the working state.
③ The product will run automatically, after all the water in the tank is heated and dripped into the glass, the product will stop heating automatically, at this time you can turn off the power switch, take out the glass and pour off the water in it, wait for the product to cool down for a few minutes, open the filter basket, take out the filter, clear the scale residue and rinse clean with water directly.
④ Use the mixture of heart descaling agent and water, repeat the appeal operation 1 time
⑤ Rinse 3 times with water according to the procedure of "new machine cleaning".
